A Complete Review of Mesa 3 Rugged Tablet

Mesa 3 is a tablet PC which has a durable design and an impressive battery life, but it does lack high-end performance and can only do some basic office and information collection tasks. Also, it is more expensive for the specifications it provides. Although the specifications are impressive as it offers a super-tough design, plenty of customizations, hot-swap batteries and more. It, however, has some drawbacks too like the display size, low megapixel cameras, and it is quite expensive too.

Mesa 3 is an ultra-rugged tablet that can easily handle a long working day, no matter what the climatic conditions are. The all-new Mesa 3 offers either Windows or Android OS, and it is ideal for data collection along with a vast range of accessories.

Mesa 3: Design

It weighs a bit heavy according to its 7-inch size. It has an inbuilt stylus and a seven-button function strip on the vertical edge on the right-hand where you will find a cursor cluster, a power button, a Windows key, return key and P1, P2 and P3 programmable functions. A High Ion-Exchange (HIE) cover glass protects its screen. Mesa 3 has undergone various tests regarding the temperature, pressure, rain, humidity, immersion, vibration and shocks, sand and dust, and it passed through all. This is the reason it is considered as probably the most robust Windows tablet.

Final Verdict

You can see from the specifications as mentioned above that the development of Mesa 3 was focused on battery life compromising a bit with the performance. However, there are some sectors in the industry where the hardware and performance are of lesser importance compared to the battery life. So that has been mainly kept in mind while developing Mesa 3. Even though it can run the windows apps, still you should not expect it to work very responsively like the iPad for processing the captured data. Rest, in an overall view, Mesa 3 has an impressive finishing, and its design construction is remarkable.
