An Introduction of MAX31865ATP+T Resistance-to-Digital Converter

General Description

The MAX31865 is a simple resistance-to-digital converter designed specifically for platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). The sensitivity of the RTD is set by an external resistor, and the ratio of the RTD resistance to the reference resistance is converted into digital form by a precision delta-sigma ADC. The inputs of the MAX31865 are protected against overvoltage faults up to Q45V. RTD and cable open and short conditions can be detected programmable.
