Doctor Strange is an American film based on Marvel Comics, produced by Marvel Studios. The film got released in 2016 and received a lot of appreciation for its cast and vision. Not only this, but it also won many awards including Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. The new Marvel film is the twenty-ninth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the final film of phase four.
The visual effects were prepared by Industrial Light & Magic, Method Studios, Lola VFX, Framestore, Rise FX, Luma Pictures, SPOV, and Crafty Apes, providing a total of 1450 effect shows. The visual effect contributors have to be given their credit as the film saw a great height because of the same.
There is great news for all the Marvel fans out there. The news is that Marvel is lining up its new project named ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ a sequel to Doctor Strange. The upcoming thriller movie about Dr. Strange is about the research on the Time Stone. The announcement by the officials and Marvel have already been made on an event regarding the movie. Also, the movie is likely to be released in March 2022.
The Doctor Strange cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Surgeon Stephen Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, Benjamin Bratt, Tilda Swinton, and Mad Mikkelsen played a great role in making the film a huge success. Another big news for the Marvel fans is that the cast from ‘Doctor Strange’ is expected to return for its sequel as well. The co-writer of the film, C. Robert Cargill, mentioned that the film would feature Karl Mordo and Nightmare as Villains.
Marvel’s Doctor Strange revolves around a Neurosurgeon who loses his hands in a tragic car accident. While he is dealing with the same and trying to heal himself, he comes across someone who is planning to destroy the world. While he tries to stop it, he learns that his teacher has a secret too.
The upcoming Marvel’s sequel will present Dr. Strange on his research for the Time Stone. Also, his plans are destroyed by an old friend who has turned into an enemy.
No trailers for the sequel are out yet, but it is expected to be released by the end of 2020. Till then, fans have to wait for a little longer to come across one of the most exciting projects.
