Eli Manning gets roasted by Tom Brady a half-hour after joining Twitter

Eli Manning, the former New York Giants quarterback who was famously social media-averse for his entire 16-year career, has joined Twitter.

Manning opened his account on Saturday with a riff on a quote from Hoosiers. So far, his profile is very basic — headshot avatar and blank cover photo — but maybe that’ll change as he grows increasingly bored during quarantine.

To paraphrase Jimmy Chitwood, “I don’t know if it’ll make any change, but I figure it’s time for me to start playing social media.” pic.twitter.com/Af8IFMOiEQ
