Express Entry: Latest Major Draw Of Canada Sends Out 5,956 Invitations To Immigration Candidates

The latest Express Entry major draw of Canada happened on May 31, 2021, and it sent out 5,956 invitations to immigration candidates.

The CRS score for this one dropped to 380, which is reportedly the second lowest that has been recorded for this year.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) is continuously sending out invitations and are carrying out draws to go with the quota for this year.

The latest Express Entry Draw will allow 5,956 candidates to apply for permanent residence.

In order to get an invitations for this one, the IRCC only looked at profiles of candidates that had scores of at least 380.

The new draw targeted candidates that were eligible for the permanent residency under the CEC (Canadian Experience Class).

Invited candidates have had at least one year of skilled worker experience in Canada along with language skills and other basic criteria in order to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class.

The draw that was carried out on May 31 was the third largest Express Entry draw ever and had the second-lowest CRS (Comprehensive Ranking Score) in 2021.

In February, the IRCC sent out over 27,000 invitations to candidates in just a single draw. In April this year, 6,000 candidates in 2 separate draws received invitations..
