Free Solitaire is a fun and addictive game

With Windows 3.0, Microsoft began including a basic version of Free Solitaire with their operating systems. In 1990, Microsoft released Windows 3.0, the company’s third major release.

Desktop computers had only recently become a household and workplace necessity at the time. A solitaire card game was included to help new users learn how to use a mouse and become familiar with features like dragging and dropping, as well as the overall graphical interface of a computer.

Other solitaire card games, such as Spider and FreeCell, were added as Microsoft continued to release new versions of their Windows operating system in subsequent years.
