  • Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief

  • And Olive Gray as Dr. Miranda Keyes

And here comes the critical part, the series is written and created by Steven Kane (The Last Ship) and Kyle Killen (Awake). We all know very well that Halo Franchise is a globally successful video game series from Bungie, released on Xbox. It spanned several games and spinoffs, which sold over 82 million copies and reached more than $6 billion in revenue. In this series, the storyline has shown a war between humanity and an alien race named “The Covenant,” set in the 26th century.

When it comes to the most prominent character of the Halo TV Show, Master Chief John-117 scores the highest point in the UNSC Spartan-II among enhanced supersoldiers. These supersoldier characters are created to protect humanity against alien threats. And the situation somehow leads the battle to destroy the Halo Array superstructures that threaten human existence in the galaxy.

We have got our first Halo TV Show teaser trailer, as Paramount+ has dropped it off today. Viewers are pretty excited with the first look of the live-action Master Chief, which displayed the character played by Schreiber. The surface can be called a little bit shady.

“Hello, Master Chief,” Halo Starring Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief

Wait, let me describe the character’s appearance to you, with Scars on his back making his entry into the trailer with a combat uniform along with sporting the “117” designation on his Spartan suit. The only dialogue you could hear in the trailer is “Hello, Master Chief,” as soon as the helmet is seen. And that unique dialogue also seems like the voice of Cortana. As the teaser trailer was coming to an end, a familiar choral Halo TV Show theme played out.

This nine-episode series is set to make its debut in 2022 on Paramount+. Schreiber, brother to Ray Donovan, has a long history of film and TV work, who got an early start in HBO’s “The Wire.” Also appeared in the projects like Micheal Bay’s 13 hours, Skyscraper with Dwayne Johnson, and Den of Thieves with Gerald Butler. One of his best performances known by everyone is on American Gods as Mad Sweeney, including his work on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black as “Pornstache.” Schreiber recently appeared in the Apple mini-series Defending Jacob with Chris Evans as well. And how can we forget him as an astronaut “Jim Lovell in First Man with Ryan Gosling.

If you have not heard, you must know that Halo had many attempts at a live-action adaptation, which also faced an early bidding war on the project in the year 2005. The project was set to be directed by Neil Blomkamp. It was a deal that fell apart and never came back alive. But we did hear plenty of rumors about its comeback. However, the franchise flourished in other mediums like video games, books, comics, and animation. But live-action has been a tough one to crack.

Video game and movie studio companies have prominently spent their hours on the significant franchise game adaptations. But it seems like the new one will finally give it a solid run if fans react to it. And if not, then there is always another game like Halo: Infinite, the next chapter of the video game series is set to drop next month.
