How To Change Physique In Madden 23 Face Of The Franchise
In Madden 23 Face of the Franchise mode, players can create their very own players and develop them into NFL superstars. You start off your career by picking a physique for your player, which provides a solid base for how your created player will look and play. But it’s hard at this stage to know what kind of playstyle you will be playing for your selected position or what kind of build will be perfect for you. Luckily for you, there is the option to change your physique during the course of your playthrough freely. So in this guide, let’s take a look at all physiques and how to change them in Madden 23 Face of the Franchise.
Fortunately, the game narrows body types into three physiques presets, each dedicated to certain positions. Here’s a breakdown of each physique:
Agile
height limit: 5’5″ to 5’10
weight range: 160 to 225 pounds
Choosing the Agile physique gives you some pretty straightforward advantages. Depending on your position, you will be a 5’10 180lbs player with better Speed and Change of Direction attributes. You also have the Juke Silver and Spin Silver perks. The Agile physique is good for all the best WR builds, corner builds, and a few QB builds. With this type of physique, you mostly go for speed, and you will avoid most physical contact through speed and agility.
Balanced
height limit: 5’9″ to 6’6
weight range: 180 to 250 pounds
The balanced physique is an all-around player with no distinct strengths or weaknesses. The perks include a Bronze in Trucking and Spin moves, while your key skills will be average in all aspects. As a result, this physique is good for just about any position. But the Balanced builds are usually for all-around QB builds. Tom Brady’s build is the perfect example. Of course, he is also an indispensable QB in your ultimate team. Spending some madden 23 coins to get him can help your team get a great improvement.
Bruiser
height limit: 6’0″ to 7’0
weight range: 220 to 400 pounds
Lastly, there’s the Bruiser physique, which gives your player a massive 6’5″, 310-pound frame. On top of this, they will also receive a Silver in Man Coverage and a Gold in Press. This physique emphasizes size and strength mightily, so it’s generally reserved for offensive and defensive linemen.
With these being your only three options in Face of the Franchise, there may come a time when you want to switch things up a little bit. To change your physique in Madden 23, you simply need to go to the main screen of Face of the Franchise and select “Upgrade Player”. This will send you to the skills point allocation screen, where you can find the option to change your player’s physique located below your player’s attributes. Simply press the button, and you can pick again from any of the three options. Sadly, you can’t have all this together.
