•    Enable the Microphone

1.    Click on the Windows and R keys together.

2.    Enter”control” in the prompt box.

3.    Click on the Enter option.

4.    After going to the Control Panel, press on the View by option.

5.    Click on the Large icons option.

6.    Choose the Sound option.

7.    Click on the Recording option.

8.    You need to right-click on an empty area.

9.    Ensure that the Show disabled devices and Show disconnected device is appearing on the screen.

10.    You need to check whether you have fixed this issue or not.

•    Check Mic Threshold Levels

1.    Return to the sound settings tab.

2.    You need to right-click on the device.

3.    Choose the Properties option.

4.    After going to the Properties option, press on the Levels option.

5.    Ensure that the mic levels are changes into maximum.

6.    Ensure that you don’t mute it.

7.    After doing the changes, click on the Apply option.

8.    You need to save the changes you have done.

9.    Close the window.

10.    Check whether you have fixed this issue or not.

•    Grant Permission to CS: GO  in the Settings tab.

1.    Click on the Windows and S keys together.

2.    Enter “settings” in the prompt box.

3.    Click on the Enter option.

4.    After going to the settings tab.

5.    Press on the Privacy option.

6.    After that, press on the Microphone option through the left-hand navigation bar.

7.    Ensure that the below-mentioned commands are enabled:

Allow Desktop apps to access your microphone

Allow access to the microphone on this device

Allow apps to access your microphone

8.    Once you have confirmed that these options are enabled, you need to save the changes you have done.

9.    Close the window.

•    Change CS: GO internal settings

1.    Open the CS: GO on the system.

2.    Press on the gear symbol.

3.    It is located on the left-hand side of the panel.

4.    Press on the Audio Settings option.

5.    Press on the Audio option.

6.    Check the Audio settings.

7.    Ensure that these options are enabled.

8.    Click on the Game Setting tab.

9.    Press on the Communication option.

10.    You need to check whether there are any muted users.

11.    Click on the Controller option.

12.    Close the settings tab.

13.    Open the CS: GO option.

14.    Check if you have solved this issue.

•    Reinstall the Microphone Drivers

1.    Click on the Windows and R keys together.

2.    Enter “devmgmt.msc” in the prompt box.

3.    Click on the Enter option.

4.    After going in the device manager, click on the “Sound, video and game controllers” option.

5.    Find the Microphone device.

6.    After finding it, you need to right-click on it.

7.    Choose the Properties option.

8.    Press on the Drivers option.

9.    Choose the Rollback driver.

10.    You need to do these changes again in case this driver is already installed.

11.    In case it is not, then choose the Update driver software option.

12.    In case this does not fix this issue, then you need to uninstall the device.

13.    Start rebooting the system.

14.    You need to plug in the headsets again.
