A. First clean the output and input trays:

  1. Clean the loose papers from the output tray.
  2. First, push the output tray extender and then pull it outwards to remove it.
  3. Now, pull out the input tray to the maximum extent.
  4. Clear the output as well as input tray.
  5. Remove any debris, stuck paper or dirt from the trays.
  6. Check everything thoroughly with the help of a flashlight
  7. Now replace the trays.

B. Clean the cartridge access area and automatic document feeder

C. Clean the paper feed roller

D. Finally, reset your printer by unplugging the power cord for at least 30 seconds and then place it back.
