How to Set Up a Facebook Messenger Rooms Video Call

There’s a lot of hype about Zoom, Google Meet, and other such platforms, regarding the group video call feature.

Facebook, too has introduced a group video call feature, where up to 50 people can video call at once, whether or not having a Facebook account. Messenger Rooms enable you to group video calls, and there is no need to download and jump to any other platform.

Introduction to Facebook Messenger Rooms

Video calls were a part of Facebook earlier, which enabled you to video call more than one person. Messenger Rooms have made it possible to create a room and video chat with up to 50 people at once. Having a Facebook account is not necessary to use this feature.

Once, the host creates a room and adds participants to it, all the other attendees can still video chat in case the host leaves the room.

For all those who enter the room with a link and do not have a Facebook account, will only be able to join a video call if the host is already present.
