How to Work Smarter, Avoid Burnout, Boost Productivity

By now you’ve almost certainly heard of #quietquitting. It’s become quite a thing, and for good reason. A recent poll by ADP showed we are working longer hours for less pay since before the pandemic. They say that “We’re “donating” an average of 7.3 unpaid hours each week, almost a whole day’s worth, up from 5.8 before the outbreak.”

We’ve gotten into the habit of working harder and longer since the Pandemic hit. I know many people that have become like hamsters on a wheel that can’t seem to get off – myself included.

Shortly before Quiet Quitting became a thing, I was asked to contribute to this article (along with the wonderful Graeme Cowan – Resilience Speaker, Director of R U OK?) on overworking and burnout.
