Therefore, the void created by the vacuum between the metal wall acts as a barrier for heat transfer. Convection

Vacuum between the liquid and outside atmosphere will certainly prevent heat transfer. But if a bottle is not well-designed to keep a constant temperature, it can cause convection inside the bottle.
