‘Pink Venom’, the new Blackpink single that adds 86 million views on YouTube in 24 hours
They monopolize the ‘reels’ of Instagram and reign in TikTok thanks to their millions of fans around the world, but the K-Pop band, Blackpink , had not shown a new work as a group for almost two years. Until now. His new single is called ‘Pink Venom’ and premiered this Friday on YouTube with ten million views in one hour and more than 86 million in the first 24 .
The band’s management agency, ‘YG Entertainment’, has defined the music video for the song as the most expensive it has ever produced and has highlighted the inclusion of traditional Korean musical instruments in the song. ‘Pink Venom’ is a hip-hop track that is featured as the lead single from the group’s new album, ‘ Born Pink’ , due out on September 16. The album has already accumulated 1.5 million pre-orders and the Korean pop band will promote their new work on a nine-month world tour that will begin in October and will visit at least 26 cities until June, performing before a million and average fan.
As an appetizer of said tour and as an announcement of the release of their new single, the company that manages the group made up of the quartet -Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa- has illuminated various emblematic buildings in Seoul, Tokyo and Bangkok in pink .
Since their debut in 2016 Blackpink has become a global phenomenon and has collaborated with international pop stars such as Lady Gaga, Cardi B and Dua Lipa.
