‘Right Click and Send to Mail Recipient’ not Working? Here Are the Fixes

The ‘Send to Mail recipient’ option enables you to add email attachments via the context menu. But, after installing the Creator update, this option may stop working. If you are facing the same issue, then do not lose hope. Read on and apply the solutions mentioned below.

Circumventing the Issue through the Share Function

You should pursue these directions given below:

Go to the file that you would like to add as an attachment and right-click on it.
Then, choose the Share option through the freshly shown context menu.
After that, you will see the share screen prompt, select the icon of Mail from the lower side of the window.
You should choose the account from which you would like to send the mail.
Finally, the email attachment will be added automatically, input the email address into the ‘To’ section and press the Send button.
Configure Email Client as the Standard Application

You should pursue these directions given below:

Hold the Windows and R buttons to launch the Run box.
After that, insert ‘ms-settings:defaultapps‘ into it and press the OK button to launch the menu of Default Apps of the Settings application.
Go to the right panel and choose the Email section.
Pick the email client you would like to use.
Now, reboot the system and try sending the file again.
Fix the Outlook Synchronization Error

Press the Windows and R buttons to launch the Run box.
Thereafter, insert ‘regedit’ into it and hit the ‘Ctrl + Shift + Enter’ keys simultaneously to launch the admin access tool.
