The Bug of Internet Explorer Will Likely Be Fixed By MicrosoftMicrosoft has recently declared a flaw associated with security that is impacting internet explorer is getting exploited via hackers. However, Microsoft has confirmed they have no intentions which are immediate in terms of resolving it. Microsoft says that supported windows versions are being impacted by this issue which comprises Windows 7, although the windows 7 version will no more be eligible for updated associated with security. The issues were noticed in the patterns of memory handled by internet explorer. The hackers were able to make use of the flaw for running code in the background on the impacted system Users were often tricked into clicking on the website link that came in the form of the search query or as a link in the mail. This issue is much similar to one that appears in the Mozilla web browser named Firefox.

Patch Will Get Released By February 11

Qihoo 360 has been credited by both Mozilla and Microsoft, the 360 is a china based team for research that specializes in detecting the flaws under the attack. Before this week Qihoo had removed a tweet that referenced a strikingly similar-looking flaw that appeared in the internet explorer. Surprisingly neither Microsoft, Qihoo nor Mozilla reported or explained how the hackers were going about to exploit the loophole that is the bug. The attackers haven’t been disclosed neither the targeted is revealed. A warning has been issued however by the cybersecurity advisory board of US government. This is linked with the exploitation that occurred via the bug or the flaw.  Microsoft claims that it was aware of some of the targeted attacks and was in the works for coming up with a fix to the issue. The release of the patch for fixing this issue is unlikely to be released till February 11 which is when the monthly updates patches get released.
