Two Ways of Welding with High Frequency Straight Seam Welded Pipe Unit

The contact solder is in contact with both sides of the welded steel pipe through a pair of copper electrodes, and the induced current penetration is good. The two effects of high-frequency current
are maximized due to the direct contact between the copper electrode and the steel plate, so the welding efficiency of contact solder is more High and low power consumption, widely used in the production of high-speed and low-precision pipes, and contact welding is generally required when producing particularly thick steel pipes.

But there are two disadvantages in contact welding:

First, the copper electrode is in contact with the steel plate and wears out quickly;

Second, due to the influence of the flatness of the surface of the steel plate and the straightness of the edge, the current stability of the contact welding is poor, and the burrs inside and outside
the weld are high. It is generally not used when welding fine and thin-walled pipes.

The induction flux is wrapped around the welded steel pipe with one or more turns of induction coils. The effect of multiple turns is better than that of single turns, but the production and installation of multi-turn induction coils is difficult. When the distance between the induction ring and the surface of the steel pipe is small, the efficiency is high, but it is easy to cause discharge between the induction ring and the pipe. It is usually appropriate to maintain a gap of 5~8 mm from the surface of the steel pipe.

When induction welding is used, there is no abrasion because the induction ring is not in contact with the steel plate, and the induction current is relatively stable, which ensures the stability
during welding. The surface quality of the steel pipe during welding is good, and the weld seam is smooth. For precision tubes, induction welding is basically used.

Precautions for debugging and daily maintenance of welded pipe unit:
In general, the formulation of the welded pipe unit must comply with the safe operation regulations. The operator must not make contact with the mold during the operation of the unit, and also pay attention to placing the hand in the direction of the outlet pipe to avoid improper operation affecting the health and safety .

In addition, the operator of the welded pipe unit should pay attention to check whether the lubrication points of the unit are in place before operation. Otherwise, it is necessary to pay attention to adding some lubricating oil to ensure that the unit can operate and work normally.

While using the welded pipe unit, we should pay attention to the use of some high temperature resistant synthetic aluminum composite grease, so as to avoid damage to the welded pipe unit.
