Wet Dreams

Wet Dreams

When you ejaculate while you’re asleep, you get a wet dream. To “ejaculate” is to let the sperm-containment fluid, semen, out of your penis. To experience a wet dream, your testes must be able to generate sperm and you must have completed puberty.

Typically, but not always, a wet dream will accompany a sex-related dream. The dream could not even be in your memory.

Wet dreams are known as “nocturnal emissions” by doctors. The term “at night” is nocturnal. Release is sometimes referred to as emission. They are sometimes referred to as “sleep orgasms.”

You may have a wet dream without masturbating. You don’t need to touch your penis to ejaculate. Wet dreams may happen to adults as well as teenage females. Girls cannot ejaculate, but they can experience an orgasm in a dream. However, girls don’t have these dreams as frequently as guys do.

What are its causes?

Males’ bodies begin manufacturing the hormone testosterone when they reach adolescence. Your body can release sperm after testosterone is produced. This implies that if you desire to have a child in the future, you will be able to fertilize an egg. It also implies that if you have sex, you may make a female pregnant.

You’ll start getting erections throughout different times of the day during puberty, including when you’re at school, watching TV, or taking a shower. Even when you are asleep, you can have an erection. The internal buildup of sperm is possible. A wet dream is one way that semen is discharged.

Frequency of Wet Dreams

Although having wet dreams is a typical aspect of adolescence, not all adolescent boys experience them. It makes no difference if you have many of them or none at all; there is nothing wrong with you either way.

A few times every week, some males experience wet dreams. Others might only experience a few wet dreams in their entire lives. (According to some study, sleeping on your stomach may increase your chances of experiencing sexual dreams.)

What do you do if you have a wet dream?

Clean yourself as you awaken. If you aren’t circumcised, wash your penis, testicles, and the region behind your foreskin with soap and water.

Speak to someone if you feel embarrassed or guilty about having wet dreams or about a specific wet dream you’ve experienced. Meet with a physician, parent, counsellor, or other trusted adult.

How to prevent wet dreams?

Wet dreams are uncontrollable and unavoidable, however they could become less frequent after you start sperm release through masturbation or intercourse with a partner. If you don’t sleep on your stomach, you could also experience less of them.

Now having wet dreams is completely normal. It’s part and parcel of when you grow up. In our book – The Erotic Journey of the Seven Graduates, our graduates have a lot of wet dreams. They think of a lot of sex, and once they do that, they find their undergarments wet and sticky. Yep, wet dream! There’s nothing to be ashamed of, as this is all part of life.
