What Does A Reasonable Current-Gen Version Look Like?

After all, the 2020 NBA Draft nor free agency will not have happened by NBA 2K MT the time current-gen NBA 2K21 is published. In fact, the 2019-20 NBA season will not even be done. Due to all of these items, anyone expecting as large of an effort as we generally see from an annual 2K discharge is likely to be disappointed. All logic points to 2K rescue all or almost all of its ammunition around the next-gen models. That said, what does a suitable current-gen release seem like for 2K? I have a few ideas.

As we have seen from the gameplay trailer which published last month, the graphics will be nearly identical, if not identical to NBA 2K20. Even though this might be an issue for some, I am fine with this bit of stagnation. There are two reasons: first, I believe we have already seen this generation of consoled pushed to their graphical limit. It is not going to get far better on PS4 and XB1 than what we see here. Secondly, it would be absurd to presume 2K would love to invest in improving the product visually when they stand to benefit from delivering a next-gen version that will be hyped up largely because of how amazing it looks. 2K and every other producer of annual sports video games will want the difference between current and next-gen to be somewhat noticeable from a visual perspective. As a consumer, I am fine with that approach.

Soundtracks are cool and all, but quite honestly, I fight to see that the authentic long-term value in investing too much into this part of a game. Nevertheless, we have seen the soundtrack which is going to be in the game and depending on your own personal tastes, you are either elated, frustrated, or could care less about the songs included. I am good with what is coming on that front, as far as comment, I can await the next-gen versions for a significant leap in this region. Some really cool things can be done to make what’s already good commentary in the game even better.

Here’s part of where 2K and EA should really bring the heat. I’m not always talking about delivering fresh ways. Again, that’s next-gen can wow us. I’m more referring to fleshing out present modes. For instance, I have already stated that without a salary cap attribute in MyTeam, I am most likely not going to provide that aspect of this game a lot of my period this past year. To a lesser degree, however similar, the exact same can be said for a draft feature. Madden, FIFA, MLB The Show, and the NHL series have excellent versions of Buy NBA 2K21 MT this concept in their own collector modes. 2K needs to bring this back to my team.
