You Season 3: The Return of the Show on Netflix

The most popular psychological thriller show on Netflix. ‘You’ is likely to return with a season 3 anytime in 2021. Though there is no word regarding the date of release, Netflix has announced the year. The new episodes are already being filmed and the new season is expected to return with a bang.

The news about filming and return of the new season was confirmed by Sera Gamble, the producer of the show via her Twitter account. Both the seasons are about Joe and Will, a person with two different identities in both the seasons. The lead character’s personality is described as self-obsessed, sociopath, abusive, and a murderer.

Season 1 of the show ‘You’ was aired in September 2018, with a total of ten episodes, and is based on the ‘Novel of the same name’ by Caroline Kepnes. On the other hand, season 2 is inspired by the novel ‘Hidden Bodies,’ and released in December 2019.

All the fans of the show are well aware of its mysteries and thrill. The early episodes of season 2 portray Joe Goldberg as the guy next door who meets Guinevere Beck and falls in love with her. He believes that Beck is not equally involved in the relationship and so he kills whoever comes in their way.

The second season picks up the pieces from season 1 and revolves around how Joe moves to Los Angeles to forget his past and start over. He also changes his identity to Will Bettelheim, a duplicate of the original Will who he had held captured. However, he is seen repeating his obsession and psychic behavior when he falls for Love Quinn. The overall show has a lot of events that are unfolded in the very last episodes and Love’s secrets are revealed as being a killer.  While there were a lot of secrets being revealed, for instance- the return of Candace, a lot of new secrets were left on the hook. Love is seen murdering Delilah and Candace to save her relationship with Will and proves to be no way better than him. The ending of season 2 left us all with a lot of curiosity to know about the further incidences as Joe moves in with Love and their unborn child.

The fans of the show surely have high expectations from the next part and are making assumptions regarding the return of Delilah’s sister for revenge. Also, there is a lot of strangeness felt when Joe spots his new neighbor over the fence, and his final words are “See you soon, neighbor.”
